Vehicle embedded computers are special types of embedded PCs designed for use in cars, trucks, buses, etc. For rail vehicles, embedded PCs are available with certification for drayage operation. These computers are designed to operate in extreme conditions such as high temperatures, vibration, humidity and dust.

They find their application in e.g. construction machines, rescue specials, military vehicles and anywhere where special vehicle bodies need to be controlled.
