With Trackball, Touchpad or Thumbstick

Keyboards with a touchpad, trackball or trackpoint are special keyboards with integrated controls for cursor movement. Instead of using a mouse, the user can move the cursor directly on the keyboard using a touch sensor (touchpad), a small ball (trackball) or a rubber joystick (trackpoint). These keyboards are compact and suitable for situations where space is limited or where using a traditional mouse might be impractical.
